Thiago Silva has already been announced as a new signing for FC Porto, but he is still waiting to be officially presented when the January transfer window opens. Until then, he has been enjoying time with his family, especially his sons, who play for Chelsea.

Even so, the experienced defender didn’t neglect his ‘homework’ and watched the FC Porto game on television. The Dragons won 2-0 with a brace from Samu Aghehowa, and Thiago Silva recorded the second goal, from a penalty, and shared it on Instagram. 

And Thiago exclaimed with a cry of excitement when the ball went into the net. The Brazilian is already getting to know his future teammates better, even before arriving.

The 41-year-old defender has signed until the end of this season, returning to the club that brought him to Europe in 2004, but where he failed to make it big.
