“Embarrassing”: Gary Neville criticizes United and names a player who is a “waste of time”
Gary Neville, a Manchester United legend , was one of the critical voices following the Red Devils ‘ defeat to Everton (0-1) in the Premier League .
“You have five defenders behind you. Why? And they didn’t even win the aerial duels. The second balls. Embarrassing,” he began, before focusing on one player in particular.
“[Luke] Shaw started to make a little progress, but slowly, let’s be clear. He’s been irritating me for 20 minutes and I have to say it. Look at him. You can’t do that,” he analyzed.
And he reinforced: “You always have to move forward. I don’t care. What he’s doing is a waste of time, he’s not fooling anyone, I won’t accept it.”
He commented on the red card given to Gueye after he struck his teammate. “It’s a situation between him and Michael Keane. It’s always unpleasant when it’s between teammates,” he stressed.
