Portuguese international player unhappy with Al Nassr’s defeat against rivals Al Hilal.

Cristiano Ronaldo was substituted for Al Nassr for the first time this season in the Saudi league, during the match against Al Hilal. The Portuguese international initially reacted well to coach Jorge Jesus’s decision, but, already on the bench, reacted in a less than sporting manner to the opponent’s third goal, scored by Rúben Neves.

The Portuguese international had even scored the first goal in the match between the top two teams in the Saudi league, but ended up being substituted in the 83rd minute, after Al Hilal had already turned the result around and at a time when Al Nassr were reduced to ten men.

Seeing his number on the substitution board, Cristiano Ronaldo smiled and calmly walked to the sideline, taking off his captain’s armband, before receiving a consoling pat on the back from manager Jorge Jesus.

Already seated on the substitutes’ bench, Cristiano Ronaldo watched Rúben Neves score the 3-1 goal from a penalty kick and, looking at the camera, made a gesture with his fingers, suggesting that Al Nassr was being robbed.
