Ricardo Mangas and Carly Santos announced on social media the birth of their first child, who was born on Sunday. The announcement was made by the couple this Wednesday.

“And on December 14th, at 7:42 PM, the universe whispered your name… You arrived as a promise, as a dream, as absolute love. You are a part of us. A love impossible to explain. Now our hearts are yours,” reads one of two posts.

In another post, Carly Santos definitively opened the book.

“Son, one day I’ll tell you that I’ve dreamed of you my whole life. That you were the most beautiful answer to my prayers. But even in my wildest dreams, I never imagined I’d find such a perfect father for you. Your dad and I grew up, built, and dreamed a lot together. Especially about this moment. We created a safe home, overflowing with love, where you too will now grow. A home where there is understanding, respect, companionship, patience, laughter, and where we treat each other, above all, with affection. A home where you will never lack anything that truly matters in this life.

I ask God to bless and protect you always, my love. And to bless our home. May He give us strength and wisdom, and help us to be the best parents possible for you. At least I’m sure of two things: the first is that you absolutely have the coolest parents in the world, and the second is that fortunately we both had the best possible examples: the best parents in the world, who will now be the best grandparents in the world for you.”
