OFFICIAL: Nuno Silva is the new coach of Vizela.

Nuno Silva was officially announced as Vizela’s coach this Monday.

Through a statement, the current 14th-placed team in the Second League announced the arrival of the 38-year-old coach, who has a contract valid until the end of the season, with an option for another year.

His career began at Ericeirense, where he spent two seasons, and he also worked at Pêro Pinheiro and with the coaching staff of Mafra and Estoril. A highlight was his two years at Nacional as an assistant coach, as the club managed to return to the top tier of Portuguese football. 

This is Nuno Silva’s first adventure as head coach, succeeding Ricardo Sousa.
