Midtjylland, where the Guinean player, who came through the youth ranks at Benfica and Mafra, plays, reported that the player was in critical condition and had to undergo two surgeries. Furthermore, the Danish club announced that Alamara Djabi has woken up from his induced coma and is in stable condition.

However, Danish police have already identified the suspect in the stabbing. He is Moussa Habib Jensen, a 20-year-old man, who is currently wanted.

Alamara Djabi left Benfica’s youth academy after four years, in 2023, to join Midtjylland. He was on loan at Mafra last season and, this season, has played three games for the Danish club’s under-19 team and one for the first team.
