Italian coach remains tied to Turin club until 2028

Luciano Spalletti has renewed his contract with Juventus. The Italian coach, who joined the Old Lady with the current season already underway, now has a contract valid until 2028.

The experienced coach arrived at Juventus in November 2025, initially to replace Igor Tudor. To date, he has 17 wins, eight draws, and six losses in 31 games for Juve . He is currently on a six-game unbeaten streak.

In Serie A, they currently occupy fifth place with 57 points = one Champions League spot away and 15 points behind leaders Inter. In the Champions League, they were knocked out in the play-off round by Turkish side Galatasaray.

It was through Juventus that Spalletti, 67, returned to club coaching. Between 2023 and 2025 he was the coach of the Italian national team. Before that, his career was mostly spent in Italy, at the helm of clubs such as Napoli, Inter, Roma, Udinese, Ancona, Venezia, Sampdoria and Empoli. Abroad, he coached the Russian team Zenit between 2010 and 2014.

The Italian thus extends his connection with Juventus, where he will continue to coach the Portuguese international Francisco Conceicao.
