Punishments relating to the league match between the two teams last December.
Nelson Oliveira and Morten Hjulmand were sanctioned following disciplinary proceedings initiated by the FPF Disciplinary Council after the match between V. Guimarães and Sporting for the League, on December 23rd of last year.
The V. Guimarães forward was punished for insults and offenses against reputation, having been suspended for one game, in addition to being fined 714 euros, an amount that the V. Guimarães SAD (sports corporation) was also ordered to pay. The Sporting captain was fined 612 euros for failing to comply with other duties, while the club’s sports corporation will have to pay 1,020 euros for a disciplinary infraction of the same type.
