According to The Athletic , after suffering a sprained left knee on December 7th, the Frenchman played three more matches before the injury was properly identified .
After missing the Super Cup semi-final and playing the final minutes of the final, Mbappé participated in eight more games before taking a break between February 25 and March 16. Coming off the bench, the Frenchman played in the victories against Man City and Atlético de Madrid on March 17 and 22. Meanwhile, physical trainer Antonio Pintus has returned to Real Madrid, while Niko Mihic has taken over as head of the medical department. The injury list includes goalkeeper Courtois, defenders Éder Militão, Raúl Asencio and Mendy, midfielder Ceballos and forward Rodrygo.
