Di María responds to an internet user:I’ll give you a little fame, idiot.

Ángel Di María did not let an accusation on social media go unanswered. A user claimed that the footballer’s wife had been heard shouting in the luxury condominium where they reside, in Funes Hill.

Jorgelina Cardoso was furious, according to this internet user, after discovering that several models had entered the condominium without her knowledge. “Neighbors claim they couldn’t control her: screams, recriminations, and tears, he asserts.

Di María used an Instagram story to discredit the claim and even threatened legal action. 

“I’ll give you a little fame, you idiot. What a way to invent things, to want to smear people just for the sake of it. Who told you to do this? On top of that, you’re so stupid that you’re showing off. If you continue to tarnish my name and my family’s name, I will take legal action,” wrote Di María.

Ángel Di María returned to Rosario Central, the club where he began his career, from Benfica, in the summer of 2025.
