Chelsea and Lyon are at a disadvantage, but the tie will be decided at home.

Arsenal – the reigning Women’s Champions League champions – beat Chelsea 3-1 in the first leg of the quarter-finals. On Tuesday night, forwards Blackstenius, Chloe Kelly and Alessia Russo built Arsenal’s advantage with goals in the 23rd, 32nd and 76th minutes, respectively. In between, forward Lauren James, full of confidence, reduced the deficit in the 66th minute.

The second leg is scheduled for April 1st, again in London, but at Chelsea’s home ground.

The winner of this tie will play against Wolfsburg or Lyon. Also on Tuesday, in Germany, Wolfsburg won thanks to a goal from forward Beerensteyn in the 14th minute.

The second round is scheduled for April 2nd in France.
