The Argentinian has only won three of the 14 games played since January 14th.

After 10 wins in 33 games for Santos, Argentine Juan Pablo Vojvoda left his position as head coach of the Peixe (Santos’ nickname). The defeat at home against Internacional (17th), in the sixth round of the Brasileirao (Brazilian Championship), was the culmination of a negative run.

And, in the early hours of Thursday morning, the losing goal (2-1) was conceded after the 90th minute.

Since January 14th, Santos has only won three games = two in the Paulista Championship and one in the Brazilian Championship = but has suffered six defeats and five draws.

Neymar’s team is the first above the relegation zone (16th), with six points , tied with Mirassol (15th) and Chapecoense (14th). In any case, Santos has played more games than Remo (19th), Botafogo (18th), Mirassol and Chapecoense.

In the Peixe  calendar, the next visit is to Cruzeiro (20th), on Sunday (7pm).
