Eze also scored twice (32nd and 61st minute) and reached five goals against Tottenham this season, with Kolo Muani’s goal for Spurs (34th minute) proving insufficient, as it had tied the game at 1-1. The Frenchman celebrated the 2-2 equalizer in the 54th minute, but fouled Gabriel Magalhães before his decisive header. In the 84th minute, David Raya prevented Tottenham, who had João Palhinha in their starting eleven, from getting back into the game with an incredible save, stopping a backheel flick from Richarlison right on the goal line.

After two draws, the Gunners returned to winning ways in the English League and extended their lead over second=placed Manchester City to five points, although City still have a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Tottenham, who haven’t won a league game since December 28, 2025, are in 16th place with 29 points, just four more than the first team below the relegation zone, Nuno Espírito Santo’s West Ham.
