OFFICIAL: Sporting loans full=back Jose Silva to Arouca

Arouca finished the January transfer window with a reinforcement for the right-back position. José Silva, a player who has one appearance for Sporting, was loaned until the end of the season by the Lions.

Silva will fill the need for that position, as coach Vasco Seabra only had captain Tiago Esgaio available. José Silva was performing well for the B team this season, with 18 games and five goal contributions. At 20 years old, he has his first loan spell in the league. José Silva arrived at Sporting in 2019 from Estoril.
