Al Nassr cancels Bento’s loan after goalkeeper’s expulsion.

On his way to Genoa to relaunch his European career and prepare for next summer’s World Cup, Bento has reportedly received orders to reverse course, according to international press reports.

On Monday afternoon, in Al Nassr’s defeat against Al Hilal (3-1) , goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqidi was sent off, giving 20-year-old Mubarak Buainain his debut. However, this youngster is not in Jorge Jesus’ plans, while Nawaf Al-Aqidi risks a two=match suspension.

In need of experienced goalkeeper options, Al Nassr cancelled Bento’s loan deal, which included a €5 million purchase option. Despite an offer from West Ham, Bento wanted to join Genoa, 15th in the Italian league .

Bento, who has been with Al Nassr since 2024, has made 59 appearances for the Saudi league’s second-placed team . The 26-year-old Brazilian international holds dual Italian citizenship.
